FS#1426 - [quest] Here Lies Dadanga
https://www.wowhead.com/quest=24702/here-lies-dadanga https://www.wowhead.com/object=164958/bloodpetal-sprout
Quest can't be completed because Bloodpetal Sprout objects don't drop the quest items.
I've opened a lot of the Bloodpetal Sprout objects to make sure it's not just an RNG loot problem like what many other objects on this server seem to have, where object loot is sometimes empty (mining nodes, herbalism nodes, archeology, quest objects etc.), and I've also tried farming the Bloodpetal Sprouts from various mobs in the zone while questing to check for potential other sources (there shouldn't be any as far as I know).

Hello I will check your report, a advice for looting objects, nodes, etc…you have to be in a range really closed to it, 2 yards or so and that way it won't be empty. Thanks you for your report, regards.
Thanks for the range tip, I'll try to pay more attention to where I stand and report back in case it doesn't solve the problem. For the Bloodpetal Sprouts I'm 100% certain range is not the cause of the issue though, because I've opened many of them while standing right on top of them or right next to them with character model literally touching the object model. I also recommend increasing the "loot range" to the actual "interaction range" for all objects, or the other way round (decreasing interaction range to loot range) if it's not too much trouble because it's how I've seen it implemented on most other servers, and honestly, it also would make a lot more sense.
I ran a few more tests on herb and mining nodes and the "no loot" issue is definitely not caused by range - I made sure to stand right on top of the node, as close to its centre as I could. I suspect it's an issue of quantity settings for the items the object can contain, for example a Sungrass node having loot set to 0-x Sungrass instead of 1-x Sungrass or some such. Then the RNG occasionally simply picks the 0 as a result and poof, the node ends up empty, or in case of mining nodes, containing stones and/or gems, but no ore.
